July was a month of improvements for us – the focus was on greater flexibility, better control over dispatch and returns, and increased process automation. Below, we summarize the key new features already available in your SmartBit solutions.
Sales table @ SmartBit now includes returns
Returns are now handled as tasks and are displayed directly in the sales table. We have added a “Show positions with negative quantities as well” toggle, which allows for the processing of these positions and their transfer to logistics and the terminal.

Speeding up the dispatch process
We have added new options for automatic quantity filling for dispatch:
- Manual (as before),
- When preparing data for the sales table,
- Upon clicking a button (user procedure for performing processing adapted to the user),
- Automatically via MSSQL JobAgent (ideal for online sales; once a sale is executed, the system knows it has the stock and creates a dispatch),
- Upon execution from an order.
Conditions for automatic dispatch:
- Full dispatch (only documents with 100% stock coverage),
- Partial shipment (items in stock only).

Two ways to create a shipping document
By right-clicking on the Sales Table button, you can now choose between:
- Open sales table (classic method),
- Create document (automated preparation of a shipping document – includes all pre-configured conditions).
Visual status for shipped items
For better oversight of shipment status, we have added color coding in documents:
- Green – fully shipped,
- Yellow – partially shipped,
- Red – not shipped.

Working with serial numbers
We have added a toggle for working with serial numbers. Upon entering a serial number, the system verifies the serial number and returns the item data.
If the setting for Quantity and Location from serial number is enabled on the terminal, the system returns the quantity and location associated with the mentioned serial number – including the expiration date.
Special characters in titles
Issues with symbols such as ', ", #, & on terminals with specific Android devices have been resolved. There are no longer any limitations regarding special characters, regardless of the Android or terminal version.
Automatic document refreshing
Following user feedback, one of the options they found bothersome was the refreshing of documents. We have added an additional toggle in the terminal settings.
WMS@ SmartBit Back Office – improved cancellation management
Document cancellation:
- Option to add a business document
- Definition of the cancellation date (e.g., return location date instead of the current date),
- Definition of the return location for all goods.
Item cancellation (Back office):
- Definition of items, quantity, and receiving location – simpler and more transparent.
